TERMS OF SERVICE

1. About us and scope

These terms apply to purchases by consumers through the Buckbootz online store. Any mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country remain fully applicable. Separate conditions may apply to business-to-business sales where agreed in writing.

2. Products and information

We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as possible. Minor differences in colour or appearance may occur because of screen settings. Product images, specifications and safety classifications form part of the product information. An obvious error in a description or price does not bind us.

3. Orders and formation of the contract

By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products. After receiving the order, we send an electronic confirmation. The contract is concluded when we accept the order. We may refuse or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, the order information is clearly incorrect or fraud is reasonably suspected. If payment has already been received, we will refund it promptly.

Please check your order and delivery details before submitting it. If you need to correct or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee cancellation once processing or dispatch has started. Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.

4. Prices and payment

Consumer prices are shown in euros and include VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. Shipping costs and the total amount payable are shown before you place the order. Payment can be made using the methods offered at checkout. We do not charge additional payment fees unless clearly stated before the order is placed.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the countries and regions shown at checkout. Current shipping rates and free-shipping thresholds are stated in our Shipping Policy and are displayed before you place the order.

Delivery estimates are indicative. Unless another delivery period has been agreed, we deliver without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded. The risk of loss or damage remains with us until you, or a person designated by you, receives the goods. This does not apply if you independently appoint a carrier that was not offered by us.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact us promptly if a shipment is delayed, damaged or missing.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

As a consumer, you normally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after you, or a person designated by you, receives the goods. For a single order delivered in several shipments, the period starts when the final item is received.

To exercise this right, send an unambiguous statement to info@buckbootz.nl or use any online withdrawal function made available in our store. After notifying us, return the goods within 14 days to Buckler Boots B.V., Heliosstraat 6, 5048 CB Tilburg, the Netherlands.

You may inspect and try the product as you would in a physical shop. You are only liable for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product. When reasonably possible, return products clean and in their original packaging with tags.

You normally pay the direct return shipping costs. If the complete order is withdrawn, we refund the purchase price and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us. Extra costs for a more expensive delivery method are not refunded. We refund within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice, using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you provide proof of return, whichever occurs first.

The statutory right of withdrawal also applies to sale items. It does not apply where a statutory exception applies, including clearly personalised products or sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken.

7. Faulty or incorrect products

Products must conform to the contract and to applicable statutory requirements. If a product is faulty, damaged on arrival or different from what you ordered, contact info@buckbootz.nl with the order number and, where useful, photographs. Your statutory rights to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund remain unaffected. We pay reasonable return costs for products that are faulty or supplied incorrectly.

8. Intellectual property

All trademarks, product names, photographs, text, designs and other content in this store belong to Buckler Boots B.V. or its licensors. They may not be reproduced or used commercially without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

9. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Shopify and other service providers may process data to operate the store, payments, delivery and related services.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including your mandatory consumer rights. We are not liable for loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, provided that we have complied with our legal obligations. For consumers, liability is governed by applicable mandatory law.

11. Complaints

Please send complaints to info@buckbootz.nl and include your order number and a clear description. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and provide a substantive response within 14 days. You may also use any legally available consumer dispute resolution procedure in your country.

12. Governing law

These terms and purchases through our store are governed by Dutch law. If you live in another EU country, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protection under the law of your country of residence. Disputes may be brought before a court that has jurisdiction under the applicable mandatory rules.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The version available when your order is placed applies to that purchase.
